.avi Files??

I was wondering if anyone here knows with what you can open a .avi file with? And if so, can you provide a link for the download for one? Thanks!

I just use Windows Media Player for .avi files.

http://www.klitesite.com/ Go there and get the K Lite Codec pack. It installs the DivX codec and all the other important ones so you can play just about any movie file with WMP.

what jeratain said. if it's not opening automatically with media player or some such program, you're missing some codecs.

Ok, thanks. That wa what was happening. It couldn't recognize the .avi files.

Codecs from DivX.com are fine, just install the codec only, and not the player.
