What do u do in between turns?

I quit the game... If the turns take too long I either have to be there simply moving the mouse or I leave it and the screensaver causes the game to crash...

Homework. Though I find I learn more from reading bits on the civiopedia than in my history lessons

How about disabling the screensaver?

Just set the screensaver to come up every hour.

I never play on large maps, because the turns take too long and there are too many things to manage. I ain't got all day for this.

Nothing, since I play on standard maps and only have a few seconds to wait.

I almost always play on Huge maps, so it can take awhile. Early in the game there's almost no time between turns, but once you enter the 1500's or so everything is colonized and turns can take 5 minutes or so to pass.

I usually go watch TV, read my Civ 3 Conquests booklest, read a book or stare pleadingly at the screen.

I usually play standard maps, so it isn't too bad. Though when in the industrial/modern ages where everyone has marge empires and many units it can take quit long, then I will go lie on my bed for some momentary shut-eye.

I played one game with huge map and I won't do it again. It took for me about 3 weeks to play it, phew thank God it's over now. I got bored so I played one small game between it :D

Anyh00t, I usually won't do anything, just listen music.
