Ok lets begin,
Turn 21
I bombard a barbarian brute with my bowman.
Turn 22
Nothing much
Turn 23
We meet Darius
Turn 24
Nothing much
Turn 25
We discover horses on the tile we built an academy on. This automatically connects them.
Turn 26
Genghis Khan settles the city of Beshbalik
We finish our settler and send him to settle a city. I mess up the planned city location, but as we will see later, it didn't matter. Babylon starts building the Great Library.
Turn 27
We kill a barbarian near Florence and gain 12 influence with them
Again, we send our bowman and settler to the (wrong) planned city location
Turn 28
We adopt a policy that gives us a free culture building in our first 4 cities, this way we won't have to build a monument in soon-to-be-settled city
I also spot another one of Genghis Khan's settlers, he will probably found a city right where it is, so I move my settler to the southwest to find a new place to settle (this happens to be the place Artingel wanted me to settle, I can't settle there anyway since it would be too close to the soon-to-be-settled Mongol city)
Turn 29
The Mongols found Turfan, which isn't good news for us, so I move southeast on our search for a new place to settle.
Turn 30
We find a place with
tons of new resources around.
Turn 31
We settle our new city and buy 3 new tiles to the west
Our gold reserves and happiness drop due to these actions
We also meet Elizabeth, she has nothing to trade
Turn 32
Genghis Khan gives us a warning about buying up his land and another warning about settling cities near him
Turns 33-39
Nothing much
Turn 40
A look at the demographics shows that we are first in literacy
The 2nd image is our empire at the end of my turnset
Best of luck to Artingel or whoever is next in line.
