This is my FIRST mod. It's a attempt to bring c3c action into Baltic region.

Now here's a short list of features:

15 civilizations (11 new civilizations, each has it's own UU): Germany, Russia, France, Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belarus, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic.

12 new units.

8 new great wonders, 2 new great wonders in each era.

Complete civilopedia entries about all new civilization, units, wonders.

Here's the map preview:

Mod version is 1.05, because i tested each civ/unit/wonder myself and everything seems to be working.
Only thing what my mod may lack is balance, but i always prefer historical/geographical accuracy over balance, so it's not so big deal.

Creative critique and suggestions are welcome :) Tell me also, what would u like to see in next version. And please do remember, that this is my first mod, so don't be too harsh ;)

Mod updated to version 1.05

I can't seem to download the archive file. Perhaps you need to try and host it elsewhere?

I'm very curious about the new units and wonders. Could you write a short introduction to the mod so I'd know a bit more before getting it?

Thanks in advance.

I'll hope Thunderfall will host my mod also on CFC server, because i knew there will be such problems as u mentioned

And i'll put up some screenshots bit later ;)

Ok, now mod is hosted on two servers. If first link doesn't work for u, then second should ;)

*edit* Here's some screenies after Tater's request: Finnish UU and one of new great wonders :)

I'll put up some other screenies later.

Anyway, i need someone to test this mod and report errors or else there will be no next version :shakehead

Looks nice - not exactly geographically accurate - but playable. It would be no good good to play the Danes and never be able to get out of Zealand. ;-)

Clabauterman (cool name, btw), you obviously haven't downloaded the map. Sjælland (Zealand) is connected by land with Lolland-Falster, which is connected with Fyn, which is connected with Jylland. You can walk all the way from København to the border. But you're right, the map is extremely inaccurate, at least the Danish part of it is, I don't know about the rest. Tomorrow, I will post a new version of it, which I hope Crash757 will use.

Making an accurate map of Denmark of that size is surprisingly difficult, but I'm quite pleased with the result. To avoid making it impossible to play as the Danes, Jylland and the islands are still connected. To show were there is water in real life, I have placed some "river" (just one "square" of it, looks like a lake) between the islands. The ressources have been placed randomly and don't have to be where they are now. I hope that this can be used.

Now Denmark really looks slightly better :) Though placin resources in their exact locations will be a pain in the 4$$, because i don't have good resource map :wallbash:
But scenario still needs testing. I know, there is couple of bugs, because one guy tested it a bit, but his bug reports were so bad, that i couldn't fix a $#!^

Actually there are no good way of placing the resources. This is because many of the CivIII resources do not exist in Denmark - horses, uranium, iron etc. The only resource locations that are even related to the real world is the coal, which I have placed where there are some brown coal in Denmark.
I will begin testing the mod soon (playing as Denmark of course :) ). Maybe tomorrow, maybe later, but you will receive a bug report and some comments and suggestions withon two weeks. Good luck with your mod.

I think i will implement some new resources, like pigs, for example. I hope it will solve lack or resources in some places.

Juul - I know Zealand is connected to the mainland on the map. That's what I said: it would be bad to play Denmark, if it wasn't. ;-)

That's always a good idea. ;-)

I haven't checked out your Danish mod yet - will do it soon...

I never download a map unless it has some promising screenies, that be of the map itself, of the units or the techtree. really going to keep an eye on this mod, so get those screenies on there and if its good I'll bring it to the next LAN-party and get all of my friends hooked on it too ;)

Ps. I have great hopes for this mod since I suck at modding, and even map creating myself...
