Barbarian Scenario - Getting Across Water

I am stuck.

Playing the Barbarian scenario, I have wiped out one continent, but I don't see how I can carry the fight to another one. The only naval unit I have is the trireme. Am I missing something?

I'm sure you have access to some water transport: I had one barb game where the last civ standing had dropped a city on a 1 tile island and I was forced to make an amphibious assault. Build whatever boat you have available and check it's cargo capacity...the unit may have been altered for the scenario.

As I recall, Galleys in the Barb Scenario have the ability to cross ocean tiles. Give it a try.
