this might be a stupid question, but can you get Leaders by attacking Barbarians? cause I've been attacking Barbarian villages for (literly) a thousand years and nothing has happened.

I dont think so!! But dont attack barbarian villages. They always gets cvalry before I do, and then you're in trouble with a single warrior!!

No, you can't... I don't remember if I read it in the manual or the forum but you cannot get leaders by attacking barbarians.. you would think you should though...

Correct - you can get units to elite status by attacking or being attacked by barbarians but you cannot get great leaders that way .

Prob to stop you getting them to easilly - after all if you parked a good defensive unit near a barb camp and it was attacked enough you get a leader - then repeat with another unit and you'd get a good stream of leaders - making the game too easy.

Early on I use the barb camps as a gold boost fund - the 25 per attack can help a lot!

Yeah I read the same thing from a Firaxis source: no leaders from barbarians
