Barbarians galore

I'm playing as Carthage (Harbors FTW) on Prince on an Earth map and it seems like Barbarians are everywhere! They respawn camps much more quickly than they used to. The only thing I can think of is that I'm playing with fewer other civs on this game than usual but it still seems faster. Anyone seeing anything similar?

That would be real nice!! As i spend the 1st few 1000 years roaming for barbs.

That's odd, I've had the exact opposite experience. I'm playing The Celts on an Arboreal Small Continents map and I took the Honor opener. So far, I've come across existing Barb camps in my exploring, but I've yet to see a new one pop up in the previously explored "dark areas."
