I have used the Baron and i have noticed that while he and other werewolves spread lycanropy really fast at the beginning after sometime the spreading of lycantropy is really slow.
At the beginning every unit killed was transformed in a werewolf 80-90% of times, but during the 500 turns i have used him i have noticed a really slowdown about spreading it.
Now my baron and 2 great werewolf are powerful units but they don't spread aymore lycantropy.
There is a time limit for spreading lycantropy?

The more werewolves are in the world, the lower the chance of creating a new one. It starts at a 100% chance and is lowered by 3% for every werewolf that exists. Its a limiting mechanism on the mechanic. Both numbers can be adjusted in the editor.

So assuming i have 34 werewolves i get no chance to get a new one?
Anyway it seems balanced to me how it is or baron would be too powerful

I think the 3% should be higher by default, and maybe affected by mapsize/gamespeed?

There is no reason this should be affected by gamespeed. Generally with slower games, the number of units produced should be about the same over the entire session. None of the other heroes are scaled for map size, you can only make one no matter how big the map is.

The formula could always be tweaked, maybe something less linear such as:
0.9^num_wearwolves

Which would be a 10% less chance of getting a wearwolf from your previous chance. So if you had a 50% chance and got a wearwolf, the next time it would be 45%.

I don't think the Baron counts as a werewolf (his first one's guaranteed, isn't it?) so it'd have to be 0.9^(1+#werewolves) - but that is probably neater than the other, the main difference being that it never gives 0 chance (unless the game's rounding cuts it out, not sure how many dps it keeps track of for this sort of calculation).

I think the Baron is one of the coolest units in the game. It would be nice to see the unit-spawning mechanic expounded upon. Perhaps a unit that spawns undead when it wins in combat. Another idea would be a unit that turns defeated enemies into demons.

If additional unit-spawning heroes are added, care should be taken to ensure that they come from unrealted parts of the tech tree. This would hinder a rush to get all the techs that produce units of this kind.
