Cheezy the Wiz
Socialist In A Hurry
So I got this baby for Christmas, and it is awesome. The graphics are amazing, but not too demanding on your comp or your wallet; there's still no single player storyline, like in 1942, but there's new multiplayer stuff. For example, there's a new multiplayer game called "Titans;" it is very very fun.
In Titans, each team has a mothership (the Titan), which hovers a few hundred meters over the map. There's a few gunships on it, and a fair compliment of turrets to guard it, plus it has shielding. The goal is obviously to destroy the other team's Titan. First, you have to take down the shields, this is best done by caturing missile silos around the map, which autofire at the other team's Titan periodically (every 2 minutes IIRC). Once the shields are down, you have to board the sucker. Don't try to land on the main platorm, however, it has this force field thing on it. There's a landing platform on the back, however, where you can gain entrance to the interior of the ship. Once inside, you must fight your way to the reactor core, blast the sucker, and get out before she goes BOOM.
Of course, the other option is to just pound the Titan into scrap metal, which works just as well.
I like the new EMP weapons, they make life very interesting, especailly since they affect both humans and vehicles alike ( they make your headset go haywire, rather than damaging you).
There's also a new pack upgrade system, with which you can upgrade and customize the weapons and tools each class gets to use; with limits, of course; your Scout isn't going to be running around with a futuristic SAW.
All in all, it seems to be a very fun game; enough like the old ones that its familiar, but there's enough new stuff in it to prevent it from feeling like a new skin on an old game.
