Battleship stats?

Hey guys, Has anyone came up with statistics for these "BB"s based on cannons, armor etc. Or would it be better if it were based on the default Battleship assuming that is the Iowa? I do have books. Just wondering. Mike.
 
IMHO BBs are too weak in the game. I'd increase thir attack and defense AND give them one extra HP. Increase thir bomb. range to 3-4 and the rate of fire to 5.
Perhaps these massive improvements require an increase of the ship's cost too :mischief:
Well, but I'm biased cuz I really like BB's, especially crushing whole fleets of Carriers and dests/Cruisers w/ them :D :devil:

there's a variety of ways to go about it...

for my AoI and TCW scenarios, i basically went w/
a) the amt of guns on the vessel
b) the size of the guns
c) took into account modernized weapons for rate-of-fire purposes(tomahawks/cruise missiles)
d) general thickness of their armour/hull
e) top-cruising speed (knots/hr)

The battleship in the Rise and Rule mod (but keep in mind that all units in RaR have higher A/D/M and bombardment values!):

40 attack
26 defense
5 AA-defense
+6 hitpoints
14 movement
40 bombardment strength (lethal sea bombardment)
2 bombardment range
6 rate of fire

costs 360 shields and needs oil
