Battletech/MW mod collaboration?

is this mod dead? it looked like a good mod. If you are not planing on finishing the mod can you atleast release the mech units, theyre very good.
 
yes this mod is still a go but right this min, Rip is helping out on some units for the SOE and SOP mods as well as with his own units.
 
My apolgies, yep as recon aluded to, I was a bit distracted doing a bunch of units for the lads SOE/SOP mods, but I've started back on doing the BTech stuff as well now. It worked out for the best tho, it helped figure out some of the angle/light/material issues I was having so the units redone so far look far better than they did (biased opinion I know). And I've also started some work on the user interface, forgot to post the images here but....

Nice...I love B-Tech, so this mod is just gonna rock.

Now to buy Civ3...
 
still being worked on, just going to take time. pretty well finished doing the armour for SOE (well, almost done, only a few odds and sods left), still have some air units to do for it, but also working through redoing the BTech units currently done, and continuing on with the rest. Sorry guys, you'll just have to be patient with me )
 
The Screens looks good. May I ask. How did you create the Screens for each since I am planning to create "The Jade Commandos" Scenario, and I am also asking in advance for permision to use some of the screens when they are releaced :).

using the screens once the mod is out is certainly no problem. As to making them, I use PSP7. I usually start by loading a copy of the original screen. Then I fill in all the non-magenta areas with some neutral color. After that I just create diffrent layers for each of the parts of the particular screen (text boxes, scoll boxes etc), color/fill/modify till I'm happy with it, then do the same kind of pallette fiddling we have to do with units. To tell the truth, I'm still trying to work all the screens out, since several of them are actually 2 or more seperate pcx files, and (of course) they don't seem to all be very easy to figure out (for me at least).

I've mentioned it to andrew, but for anyone else interested in tracking the progress of the mod, I've been running into the "max file size" prob more and more with the graphics I'm trying to att. And I really don't like how the look when they get scaled down to a file size that works, so I probably won't be doing all the graphics updates here. I will try to remember to post anything that does fit under the limit tho.
