In 4 games now when the AI manages to get the Mind Flower or the Beacon up or is building it and I manage to destroy it, it doesn't really destroy it, it just vanishes off the map and still gets built or nets the victory for the builder after a few turns.
Beacon and Mind Flower not actually being destroyed.

I'll post the file where the beacon I destroyed just comes back after I capture the African capital, as soon as I get the Mind Flower loss one I'll post that one.
I also checked which city was building it and the city right below was working on it and it seems like it was still going even though it was destroyed earlier.

played your save file, and yes that beacon they built is very strange... no country icon, just a silver gold circle... and I can NOT destroy it like I have in other games. something is not working correctly.
I ran into something similar.
I had the Mind Flower built, and America declared war on me. They destroyed the Mind Flower and then razed the city that built it. I assume the AI actually destroyed it, I was able start building another Mind Flower in a different city.
Sometime later, but before my new Mind Flower was finished, I won a Transcendence victory. Weird.
