Beginner-Intermediate Rome Total War Succession Game

Seeing as that the other Rome: Total War succession game is dead, we need a new one. I would like to have this for those of us who have played for a while, but are not too good (there is no way I can play hard or very hard). I just finished a full length campaign on Easy Campaign Map, Medium Battles with the Brutii..

The easier factions are (In my opinion):
Scipii
Julii
Brutii
The Greek Cities
Egypt
Parthia

Medium Campaign Map and Medium battles preferred, play until faction leader dies.

Takers:
Emp. Napoleon

I just finnished a gutfull of Egyption on HARD:HARD

Just to let you know that the AI greatly undervalues your own troops and experience. Leading to some shocking auto battles. GRRRRRR

@FF
You do auto battles? Then what's the point in playing the game? 90% of the pleasure is to lead the battles yourself IMHO.

Besides, auto battles on Hard/Hard is a big no-no...

To many battles to play. Also most of the time its the same repeative tactics.
Egyptions play almost identical to the Greeks. (which I had also finnished on Hard)

Just for a Hoot. I built an all chariot / calvary army and lead them into battle.
It all went horrible, As it decintergrated into a uncontrolable melee. (Blah)

I think On Egyption campaign I played around 24 battles before finnishing the game

I tend to auto battle when it's like, my 1000+ army against some unfortunately slaves I've stumbled upon, stuff like that. apart from that I always do my battles (I learnt that the hardway, I tried taking a Spanish city using auto battle and I got my ass handed back to me) but I've kinda found it to be useful. I was trying to take Carthage once and my army was vast (I bribed the huge Roman armies in africa, saves me having to transport one over) and I attacked. the walls were large and well defended and although I easily cut through the conventional troops, their Elephants gave my army a right beating, I lost hundreds of troops to a handful of those beasts and in the end I lost because I didn't have the edge to capture the town. next time I got an army and instead of handling the battle personally I auto battled it and I won lol, loosing far less troops than I did last time. I hate elephants and I hate those stupid British charriot thingys

I'll give it another go.:)

I'd rather play as a non-roman faction, like the Greeks or Egyptians.
