best beliefs for war

Hey I'm starting with the celts and I want a headstart with war in mind (They seem like a warlike people). And I just got my religion first so whats the best traits for war?

Holy Warriors is a must-have for me. Units cost less Faith than Gold, and generally I pick a faith-accumulating pantheon so once I found the religion and get Holy Warriors, I am getting around 20-something faith per turn.

With units costing in the 100-faith range, I can pump them out pretty quickly in a war (couple this with normal production and gold, and you can nearly triple your army output.

The ONLY negative is that it ends after the renaissance era.

The price ofc scales with eras. I had musketeers costing 400 faith which was more then a GP

So right now I have Dance of the Aurora for my religion I'm thinking Tithe or Ceremonial burial and Holy Warriors?

I didn't get too far in the game yet that I have this belief, so i didn't notice that it scaled.

HOWEVER - early game they are less faith than they are gold, at least for me they were on a standard game. Made me very powerful early on, so that by the time Musketeers will come around i doubt that the gold purchasing or production will be a problem.

Just War enhancer belief. Bring great prophet to enemy capital and spread your religion. Instant +20% damage.

Just War, Defender of the Faith, Faith Healers, Holy Warriors (Mainly for early-game conquests), and perhaps Goddess of Protection (+40% city bombard strength stacked with the social policy bonus from Oligarchy might make your cities unassailable late-game).

The only thing that prevents me from conquering everyone on the planet is lack of Happiness, so Ceremonial Burial, Asceticism and Religious Center are awfully nice.

Though in my current game I have insane amounts of Faith and little to spend it on, so I can see Holy Warriors being a serious advantage.

I'm a 100% warmonger, and happiness is always the limiting factor. So, when I found a religion, I always pick:

Founder: Ceremonial Burial --> No brainer for me
Follower 1: Pagodas --> You're going to have excessive faith by the Renaissance, and Pagodas are a great investment.
Follower 2: Asceticism --> +1 happiness is always nice.
Enhancer: Defender of the Faith
