sellers-Lolita (because everyone else will say strangelove)
eastwood-unforgiven, directed and acted well
brando-godfather
carlyle-TRAINSPOTTING, I thought that was one of the best bad guys I have seen in films.
Buscemi-fargo, he was a funny looking guy
roth-Rob Roy, another great bad guy, a real ponce, but transformed into a macho for the final sword fight
De Niro, Taxi Driver, you talkin to me?
Walken, deer hunter
oldman-as beethoven in imortal beloved, or as sid vicous in sid and nancy, is there anything this guy cant do?
Penn, fast times at ridgemont high, why not?
Freeman, driving miss daisy, sweet
jackson-pulpfiction

Peter Sellers- Inspector Clouseau. :D

The finest movie of these actors?

Peter Sellers A comedy great, his finest would be his Pink Panther performances.

Clint Eastwood A scary man in his prime, showed us how the West really was. His finest has to be The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Marlon Brando A horrible fat man in later life, but a renegade pretty boy earlier on, his best is The Wild One.

Robert Carlyle None! A self-styled Mr tough guy, Robbie Begby Carlyle is a disgrace to Scotland! A bag of vile suckage!

Steve Buscemi None at all! And for Armageddon he should have been summarily shot. (as should anyone involved in making that movie)

Tim Roth No great moments for this thesbian, though he was good as a monkey.

Robert De Niro "You lookin at me?", more like; "Is that all you can say?". It vote Rocky and Bullwinkle! as De Zero's best.

Christopher Walken A scary bloke, He is great as a bad guy, as he displayed in The King of New York.

Gary Oldman The Fifth Element is enough to warrant this man being promptly shot, for Lost in Space, he should be dug up and shot again!

Sean Penn I refuse to acknowledge this being as a human, never mind an actor...same goes for his ex-wife.

Morgan Freeman A good actor, no less. I suppose everyone is going to say The Shawshank Redemption, so I am no different!

Samuel L. Jackson Hey! Old Sam has been in many cool films, I was surprised at his appearance in Menace II Society. His best might be Die Hard III.
(A shame he destroyed his credibility with those awful Star Wars movies.)

I hope people don't get the idea that I am being unduly harsh to your fave actors,
Because I feel that people who get paid millions for saying a few words and standing around all day,
And then whine about how tough it is dealing with life and having stupid fans worshipping them,
These 'actors' deserve some harsh words said about them.

Lucky Tom Hanks is not on the list, I could fill books with my rantings about this man's lack of talent!

walken - that fat boy slim video.

Clint Eastwood - Probably "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly," with "Unforgiven" coming in 2nd and "Dirty Harry" 3rd.
Marlon Brando - "The Godfather"
Steve Buscemi - Very underrated actor who has played lots of great roles; my favorite is "Ghost World"
Tim Roth - "Pulp Fiction"
Robert De Niro - "The Deer Hunter"
Christopher Walken - "The Dead Zone." Absolutely haunting performance
Gary Oldman - "The Contender." Great job as Republican scumbag :)
Sean Penn - "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" most fun character in the film
Morgan Freeman - "The Shawshank Redemption" Excellent performanc in excellent movie
Samuel L. Jackson - "Pulp Fiction" should have had an oscar. "Unbreakable" 2nd best.

Robert De Niro - Cape Fear. "Excellent performance in an excellent movie" (to quote a phrase ;) )

Sean Penn - I don't really like him, but I thought he was good in Colors

Morgan Freeman - How can I not say The Shawshank Redemption? One of my favourite movies of all time. I especially like his final speech to the parole board.

Samuel L. Jackson - Pulp Fiction. "Oh I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?"

De Niro - The Deer Hunter.
Eastwood - The Dirty Harry trilogy.

Peter Sellers - Inspector Clouseau
Steve Buscemi - Ghost World
Robert De Niro - Ronin
Christopher Walken - Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead
Samuel L. Jackson - The Negotiator

Peter Sellers
Dr Strangelove - I didn't realise he played three parts the first time I saw the movie.

Clint Eastwood
One of my all-time favourites, who's best was the Dollar-trilogy by Sergio Leone.

Marlon Brando
Will always be Don Corleone for me.

Robert Carlyle
I found him hilarious in Ravenous, but he was also great as Hamish Macbeth.

Steve Buscemi
Mr Pink in Reservoir Dogs.

Tim Roth
Too many great ones to pick from. Propably Little Odessa.

Robert De Niro
Are you talking to me?

Christopher Walken
Stephen King's Dead Zone.

Gary Oldman
Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Sean Penn
U-Turn. I think he's a better director than actor, though.

Morgan Freeman
The Shawshank Redemption.

Samuel L. Jackson
No doubt whatsoever - Pulp Fiction.

Thanks for starting something.

Welcome to CFC Katre.
Your list:
Peter Sellers- Fu Manchu.
Clint Eastwood- Unforgiven.
Marlon Brando- The Island of Dr. Moreau.
Robert Carlyle- Never heard of him.
Steve Buscemi- Fargo.
Tim Roth- Planet of the Apes.
Robert De Niro- Meet the Parents.
Christopher Walken- True Romance.
Gary Oldman- Immortal Beloved.
Sean Penn- TAPS
Morgan Freeman- Nurse Betty.
Samuel L. Jackson- Never liked the guy.

All of the above choices come down to a matter of taste. I know there are technically better performances by some of these guys, but these were the ones that tickled me the most. Especially Brando saying "There is such a thing as atonal music" to the piano playing mutant in Dr. Moreau.

Steve Buscemi is the archetypical (sp?) creepy-guy. My favorite of his is Ghost World.
