I picked up Civ 3 for $2.50 during the Steam sale. I notice it doesn't have a tutorial and the original documentation is nowhere to be found online. I've read some of the stuff here, but most is a lit more . . . verbose than what I'm looking for which is just a getting started guide.

Any suggestions?

thanks

There is a tutorial manual, of sorts;

CIV3 Overview>

CIV3 Info Centre >

Also check out You Tube, some good Video' there on the game.

Type "Civ 3 manual pdf" into google - and the second or third link you get should be exactly what you're looking for...

If you go to Preferences, I believe you can turn on "Tutorial Mode." Never tried it though, so I don't know what it does. :p

Come on guys, quit trying to be to be some cheap-skate "I'm going to beat the system" punk.
Man up and pay the less than 10 USD. Own the disks, own the game, my belief.

Come on guy, read the posts before you start accusing people of whatever - based on pure assumptions... ;)
