ToE so you can build that game-winner Hoover Dam (get Atomic Theory and Electronics from ToE). And naturally the United Nations so you can say no to votes

I don't usually even bother going for any earlier wonders since the AI beats you to them on Emperor. I usually find it's more useful to build something else in my cities, letting the AI waste its turns on things I will conquer from it later

So that is what other poeple get from ToE. And I ALWAYS do that with the UN, I hate the votes because I always lose them since the Ai's always hate me. Interesting the way that works . . . of course, I make and break treaties whenever I feel like it.
