I install the BUG mod to the CustomAssests directory, and put the Better AI Mod Files to replace the original file in BTS directory, what should I do next to run this two mod at the same time without any loss of function?

I know there is a thread talking about this, but as if it doesn't suit to my situation. And I wonder if the new edition will produce some change when merging this two mod. Thank you.

Thank you very much. But in which thread does this mergemod release? And how to use this?

when you extract it, you will find a "BUG Mod 4.0.x" folder in the mergedmod folder. cut and paste this "BUG Mod 4.0.x" folder at "Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods" (not at custom assets) and choose it as a mod ingame. that's all.

For the curious, I call it "4.0.x" because the BUG comes out of the SVN from a few days before they actually released 4.0, so in case there are very minor differences I gave it a unique name. I haven't bothered to make a new one with the actual 4.0 release (pretty sure it's basically the same as what I built from).

Note that the mergemod installs both as mods, not into customassets.

omg, never replace the original files. there is a merge of bug mod and bbai around: http://www.tumbolian.org/Civ/mergedmod.zip

omg, I don't know why, because I do it all the time as he said, and it works just fine.

Use Custom Assets for BUG (down from SVN daily), and replace original BTS files with BetterAI (it's better anyways, you won't go back ;)

Works fine.
