Better City Walls - A mod for Civilisation 6 that changes city walls outer strength & hit points.

BETTER CITY WALLS

Purpose: A mod for Civilisation 6 that changes city walls outer strength & hit points.

Rationale: The legacy game has all the types of city wall strength set to 2 & their hitpoints set to 50. I introduced a new early city wall
(palisade walls) to help protect early-game cities from those pesky barbarians or from other civ's that declare war early & adjusted the strength of the
ancient walls accordingly.

WALL TYPES

* Palisade Walls Pottery tech required Strength=1 Hitpoints=10 Cost=60
* Ancient Walls Requires Palisade walls Strength=1 Hitpoints=40 Cost=80
* Medieval Walls Requires Ancient walls Strength=2 Hitpoints=50 Cost=225
* Renaisance Walls Requires Reneaesance walls Strength=2 Hitpoints=50 Cost=305 (legacy game settings)

TODO's:
* Change description/strength text of walls in the civilpaedia.
* Adjust walls strength/hitpoints for balance.

You do know the effects of city walls are cumulative right? So a city with medieval walls has +4 strength and 100 outer defences.
Ah thankyou. That makes more sense. I adjusted walls strength to include a wooden palisade wall in the ealy-game & left the strength of the later era walls unchanged.

Nice mod, love the Palisade.
Could be nice with a building icon.
