Beyond the Sword issues with Win 7?

there were some windows 7 updates that installed, after that patch 3.19 went through and I can run BTS from the disc- autoplay feature, cant run vanilla though from the app file on C Drive get wrong disk error, also same with BTS from C drive app file.
