BFC - BattleField Chess

Work would have progressed much faster but I spent a lot of time placing the location names using invisible odd-even AI cities. It was extremely challenging to find so many shades of Red and Blue for the names. Plus doing and redoing the hills and mountains using contour isopleths so that there is a real map feel. The final trick was to add the random numbers to the contours to indicate the so-called height. A closer look would show the heights are different even on the same line..ha ha.

Will probably complete the events this weekend.
 
Any further news on how this scenario is coming, kobayashi? I'm already eager to try it!

I have a rough version up and running, I'm planning to fiddle around with it a bit more before releasing a beta for play-test. I presume you wouldn't mind being a play-tester.

I've

1. cobbled together a rough set of sound files
2. split the scenario into 2 player/1 player versions and did the batch files to swap deployment/playing rules and 2 player/Single player starting positions.
3. got a Bare bones version of readme and openning text up to explain how to play
4. Fixed most of the obvious problems.
5. Change some of the more common in-game pop-up messages.

and i think it is finally playable now. Who wants to play-test?

p.s. does anyone know of a set of unit parameters which will get the AI to attack with land locked bafttleships (gun emplacements in my case).
