Yep, good ol' watergate nixon. Sounds more like Clinton, who did great things, and did a few things bad (which I still push the point that his personal life does not affect our country. Man had an itch he needed to get scratched.)

The media age we're in means that what used to be "business as usual" for Presidents is front page news and means of public castigation. Add in the blogs, and the ability of insiders to leak information in ways never before possible, and there's a good reason for the current viewpoint of people on political affairs.
I doubt we'll see a truly ethical/honorable president for quite some time.

I saw someone on the forum use it during another game, and I just remembered it. This is one of those little things that might help us plan our game. (We now know where the equator is, so we can assume where the polar areas are, and we don't have to send ships there.)

I mean come on, it makes perfect sense in three aspects.
It is named after the person who drafted our constitution (or whatever)
"Alpha" meaning supreme (like alpha male), so calling it The Alpha Line would mean it is the supreme line (which the equator is.)
And if the Jungle is named the AlphaWolf Jungle, the equator goes right through that jungle and it would make perfect sense.
