I upgraded my bios a few months back. Anyway, was just installing a new hard drive, and discovered that the bios upgrade haad reset the FSB to 100 MHz, meaning my CPU was running a little slower than it should have....

The bizarre thing is that I do't think any other BIOS setting was affected. :ack:

The most embarrassing thing was that the BIOS upgrade was supposed to fix a pbolem where the wrong CPU temperature was being reported. I thought it was a 'success' when the CPU temp dropped by about 5°C. But its more likely that the CPU temp dropped because the FSB speed dropped.
