Just when I thought I'd seen every wacky Civ2 scenario idea out there I find this while doing my lost Civ2 websites search and scenario hunting & rescue work.
The moment I landed on the website archive I knew it's creator was bit c u c k o o (you'll get the joke in min lol)

That's a... LOT of birds.. my speakers also started making chirping sounds too lol
Over the last few weeks as part of my big Civ2 scenarios & mods preservation project I've been searching all over the net and have found some amazing looking/sounding super rare scenarios with dead downloads meaning they're likely lost forever.. but this modpack downloaded just fine!

And boy it does not disappoint.. every single unit sound is replaced by birds screeching hahahaha.. you swing a sword you get a chirp.. your plane crashes you get a squawk! haha
But oh it's gets better.. wait till you see all the bird related Microsoft Windows Paint drawings! What is even happening here???
brilliant hahahahahahaha.. look like they were done by 5 year old hahaha
But oh wait there's more.. he's changed the advice file so you get nice things like "The birdies grow restless. Let us appease them with a Colosseum." and "Why are we allowing worms to rot in the fields? Let us build a Supermarket to distribute it properly!". Or at least that's what it would say if he hadn't of changed the buildings too of course haha as we've got things like "nest of worship", "bird poop nest", and "worm exchange" haha.. all the advances are changed to bird stuff like "flock senate" and "bird religion".. and of course all the units too with pretty much every bird you can think of and not think of (eg suicidal crow) hahaha.
So did it's creator 'Coo3d'/Nick Coman have a brilliant sense of humour? a brilliant supply of drugs? or maybe he was just dared to do it in a scenario/mod design contest? or was he just a kid?.. I'll let you guys decide haha.. either way I just had to share this discovery with the community as like so many scenarios/mods it was lost to time and was just too funny haha
