The team colors for units, while the game is in play, flicker their normal color(like Red for Rome) and then blue. As well, national border colors are just grey(as opposed to whatever color they belong to).
On the previous machine I used Civ3, I never had this problem. That previous machine had XP installed while this only has ME installed.
