Why does CFC keep trying to get my browser to download blank 0kb xml files?

You're not the only one. It's been happening to me for the past month. I thought it was just something wrong with my computer or Firefox.
....mmhh....? What browser, and what's the name of the XML files?
EDIT: Yes, I thought there was a browser error, mostly on Mac computers, but can't find the news item right now.

I'm using Firefox on a Windows 10 computer. I don't have any of the files saved, but the names are short and made up of random numbers and letters.

Seems that when this happens, the Ads on the top of the page don't load.
