VDM Sound is a sound emulation program. If it is improving performance that proves that at least part of the problem is your sound. I'll look for that new error to see what it is.

So I found out the green line is just due to a "Show Load Balancing" option for SLI which lets you see where each card is drawing the screen...so it's not an error. For some reason, the VDMS program turns this option off.

So I've downloaded the file, but I can't seem to update it. When I use the Device Manager to "update driver", I point to the location where I've saved the downloaded driver, but it doesn't ever find the (new) file.

How can I force Windows to update to the downloaded driver? Can I just overwrite the file?
