[BNW] Game crashes whenever a replay is loaded

I did not have this problem in the vanilla or the Gods and Kings version. But since I downloaded Brave New World, the game will not let me view any replays (not even the ones from before my download). Every time I try to load a replay, the game crashes. This happens both after I finish a game, and when I go through the Other menu to view past replays. I also turned all the options to Low, still happened. The game itself runs fine, no graphical issues. I have a Retina Macbook Pro 15 inch (with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics card and 8GB RAM). I use the game off Steam. Any clue what the problem could be? I'm not sure how to approach solving it.

I have the issue with G&K. Large games crash when loading the replay.

I sent this to Aspyr, who could not solve the problem and gave me no help, really. After installing BNW (it never happened before that), most replays would cause the game to crash. If I retire or win the game, and attempt to view the replay, it crashes. If I go to View Replays, in the Other menu, most will cause it to crash.

I can narrow it down by saying that the more content in the replay file increases the chance of a crash. I always play Huge maps with 12 players, and they always seem to crash if ended after turn 10. But Standard maps with 8 players do not seem to crash. They do, however, take a lot longer than usual to load up.

I have included the crash file, if there is anything you can tell me from it, or any tips you have, that would be great. I have tried to delete all the files, I reinstalled my operating system, I even installed the Beta for Mavericks, and I uninstalled and reinstalled Steam and all of Civ. I am running it on a Macbook Pro Retina 15", with NVIDIA GeForce 650M graphics. There are no other problems with the game graphically, and the replays still dont load with lower graphics settings.

Your attached file contains nothing readable. It opens as gibberish in my Console. Even if it was readable, if Aspyr can't solve the problem, I doubt of anyone here can.

Bump. Any update? I have updated to OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) and there have been a few Civ 5 updates since the previous post.

Any ideas?

We are not Aspyr. If no one else who visits this forum has seen this problem then it is not likely that you will get a solution here. Have you contacted Aspyr tech support?

I understand this isn't Aspyr. I'll uninstall/reinstall when I get a chance, then contact them if it doesn't work. I was just hoping to find a fix because it appears I'm not the only one having issues. I saw another post from someone else here as well with the same issue.
