When bombarding a city does that damage the defending units in addition to possibly destroying any city improvements?

How does the sentry command work?

What is 'zone of control' and how does it work?

With Battlefield Medicine your units can heal in enemy territory. Does this apply only to land units or to all?

Thanks!

Well certainly, there's not much point in having an artillery unit otherwise. I think though that you're not told that a unit was damaged, unlike destroying an improvement or a citizen, which is probably why you're wondering.

Very simple, your unit will act just like it was fortified, but as soon as an enemy unit comes within range of it, it will become active.

The zone of control is all the squares immediately around a unit. If a unit has that ability, anytime an enemy unit enters into any of those squares, it gets a chance at taking a shot at it, with a loss of 1 hitpoint if it succeeds.

I'm not positive, but I think all sea units have to be in a port in order to heal, regardless of Battlefield. I could be wrong though.
