Just bought my first bomber but can't seem to get it to move anyway, I am doing it the same way I move any other unit but nothing happens just stays where it is.

Any idea's?

Bombers are stationed in your cities, on an airfield or a carrier. If you want to bomb something, activate the bomber and press b, choose a tile and let the bomb go.

Bombers can only move from city to city or to an aircraft carrier. Then they have a certain bombing range from there.

They can only rebase or bomb. They cannot patrol or recon. Fighters can recon.

Right its different to civ2 you used to be able to click and drag bomber to where you wanted it over 2 turns thanks people.

I am thinking about making a spy plane unit, but how can I increase its line of sight to like 4?

Dida, you cannot increase it's line of sight. It is going to see only 2-tile radius.
You want to see more? Build more recon-capable aircraft or occupy with ground units.

The editor is pretty limiting. If I uncheck the immobile flag, would it make it move like a ground unit?

As long as it's in the air class, it's not going to magically start moving like a ground unit ;)

Actually, I tried unchecking the "Immobile" flag. The air unit started moving.

Hey could anyone explain, or direct me to a post explaining exactly how lethal bombard is calculated. Oh, and which units have it? Thanks alot guys.
