bought DLC, cant find it to launch

ok so i just bought this off stream anf steam says its installed.

Civilization V: Cradle of Civilization - DLC Bundle
Includes 4 items: Civilization V: Cradle of Civilization - Mediterranean, Civilization V: Cradle of Civilization - Asia, Civilization V: Cradle of Civilization - Americas, Civilization V: Cradle of Civilization - Mesopotamia

where the hell do I load it to play it since its sure not on the DLC page like the one free mongle one is.

Its suppposed to be a secenario. not just a map. Was trying the americas one but cant find any of these anywhere in the CIV5 menus to load/launch them

Where did you exactly search for it?
The maps (in terms of civilization, a map is nearly the same as a scenarion and are treated equaly) should be available under the advanced start options, but not in the "play now" menu.

In the save game, or load game menu, there are small letters on the lower left: DLC. Have you tried clicking on them?

They are not accessed via "the load game menu". There are no small letters on the lower left.

I would expect that they would be under Scenario menu, but they are not located neither there.

I am not sure what you mean here? Do you mean following steps?

1. Single Player
2. Set up game
3. Advanced Setup

I do not see any "in the maps" except the option of choosing a map size.

On the other hand, if I try "Load game" the DLC letters apear only when you choose some already saved game. But it does not help because it says that one must use either Mongolians or Babylonians. I saved a game with Babylonian leader, and selected it so that I could have access to DLC. But then I got the same message. In other words, it didn't work.

Under downloadable content, I see all Cradle of Civilization maps. But I fail to see how do I access those features in the game play.

I have requested help from Steam support, but so far I have not received any reply yet.

Some user, zackxm, commented about the maps option that should be under Advanced Setup.

"It isn't there for a lot of people. It's a Steam issue but they don't care as I've been going over it with them for a few weeks with no progress. Hopefully yours are there under the advanced settings but mine aren't. "

Other users also report that they do not have the map option under Advanced settings.

I noticed that one can save maps. But I do not have the option to load a saved map.

OK, I found the maps. They were under the option of choosing type of map under the Advanced Setup. I did not look carefully the first time I searched for maps.

I just bought the Cradle DLC Bundle, but am not finding it working in-game.

I checked in my Steam library: Right clicked on Cid Meier's Civilization V, then left clicked on View Downloadable Content. It lists:

Cradle of Civilization: Americas
Cradle of Civilization: Asia
Cradle of Civilization: Mediterranean
Cradle of Civilization: Mesopotamia

I also have Civ and Scenario Pack: Mongols, Genghis Khan, and Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods and Kings.

But... when I go in game, and I try to select my Civ leader for a new game in Advanced Setup, I can't see any new ones from the Cradle Bundle.

Isn't Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon supposed to come included with that pack?

What about Pachacuti and the Inca?

And what about Kamehameha and Polynesia?

I can't find any of them. Aren't those all supposed to have been included in the Cradle bundle I just bought?

I do see the maps for Americas, Asia, Mediterranean and Mesopotamia, but none of the leaders.

Aren't those leaders supposed to be included?

No, leaders are not included in the cradle of civilsation, just the maps.

I am upset that the wording of the purchase led me to believe the leader would come with the packs I bought.

"The Cradle of Civilization map packs are Firaxis-designed maps of real-world locations. You can play random leaders in these settings, or choose leaders appropriate to the history of these areas. The maps can also be opened up in World Builder, where you can even create specific scenarios."

That's the quoted description when you go to purchase the DLC, under the section with the title: About the Game

I actually only bought the Cradle DLC Bundle wanting those leaders. : P I wasn't as interested in the maps.

I hope they will change the wording to make it clear that the aforementioned "leaders appropriate to the history of these areas" are NOT included in the purchase of these packs.

I'm afraid you were mistaken - The Cradle of Civilization set is just maps. They will not appear on the in-game DLC menu (although they should appear in the Steam DLC listing).

To Myrrhbear: Again, the Cradle of Civilization is just a map pack. It does not include any civilizations. Babylon, Korea, Spain/Inca, Polynesia are separate. (Spain is included with Gods and Kings).
