Boundary Stones
Painted rocks marking the territory borders. Naturally these fit better into the ancient and medieval eras, but also work fine with the industrial and modern ages. And they don't even look too odd on water terrains :)

Made to fit with Sn00py's, Rhye's and the original terrain set, but will probably fit with others as well.

Goes to \Civilization III\Art\Terrain or, if playing a scenario using its own territory.pcx, to the corresponding \Art\Terrain subdirectory.

This look familiar, did you base this on something?
Uhm, no, not at all :( I never found anything that looks even similar, so I made these entirely from the scratch. So did I miss a similar mod? Got a name?

I found just one border style, that at least shares the idea of 'border/boundary stones', and this was Winters Borderstones (here) - but they do look completely different and just weren't what I was looking for.

Oh calm down, it wasn't an insult :) Yours look great! I merely thought they reminded me of something.

EDIT: They sorta, sorta, look like a large version of the dotted terrain that several cfc members toyed with in the early days of the forums.

I didn't take it as an insult :) I would just have been a bit disappointed, if I had wasted some modding time on making these, while there is already something similar.
But you're right, almost forgot the dotted borders. I tried to mod them as well back then but couldn't get any of the gray shades to show up in the game (this was way before Pounder made his territory colors guide).

Wow! I just noticed all these things you're posting!
You're amazing!
:goodjob:

I just saw this, and in my opinion these look better than the older dotted borders I've been using (I think), so im going to give these a try, well done!
