Brainstorming: Weaknesses of the AI

i think that the ai needs a code for heroes and valuable units where it wont attack unless the odds are over 80% or something and it will be on units with high exp or world units and in onther special conditions ( like if its the patriarch)

if you automate your worker, it sometimes ignores new far away tiles that you get by expanding borders. i often see unused tiles at my borders and all my workers sitting idle in cities.

Is it possible that you've directed your worker to Automate Nearest City? I haven't used that function since my first few days of Civ IV, and I seem to recall that being the case.

there are also multiple reasons workers don't like to build things anymore, you can have more than one type of worker(elven/dwarfish) as well as a huge number of improvements with stats altered by numerous techs and civics

Flogging a dead horse here, but the AI still doesn't pursure religion aggressively enough. My current game is a Grigori one on a large Fantasy Realm map, with no Ljosalfar or Dwarves in sight, which is a little unusual I know, but it took over 200 turns before any of the 3 early religions were founded by the AI - ludicrously slow considering I could've founded at least 2 of them myself in that time.
