Brave New World at 33% discount (20€)? Yes you can

Any of y'all know how long the vouchers last? I.e. is there a time limit on when I can use them to get that extra -25% off?

They do have a limit, but you have to search the site or the GMG blog to see where (I dunno where to find it). Still, they tend to go on for several days if not weeks; and even then, they're so frequent that it doesn't really matter - in one month you may see a general voucher off for a large amount of games varying between 20% to 30%.

do you get the steam code right after ordering or does GMG (or steam?) email you the code on the release date? i've never pre-ordered a game from steam before and this email from GMG is confusing . .

Nope, I bought G&K from GMG and got my code at 12 AM EST June 19 (American release day).
Emphasis on might. I got an American code from GMG last year and got to play prior to the international release date. There may be issues if they choose to fix this oversight this year (GMG might only be given international codes as they are a UK based site).

You usually get the code listed on your account as soon as you buy it (and you can activate it as a pre-order on Steam). Sometimes you don't get it straight away but you should get it before the release date.

thanks. yeah, i see that listed in my GMG account now: "No keys available until the game is released."

I got Gods & Kings from GMG dirt cheap last winter (something crazy like $5), so I was planning on using them for Brave New World. Unless Steam offers TF2 hats or something. :p

Does GMG let you preload a game prior to release?

I pre-ordered XCOM:EU through them (was roughly 50% cheaper than buying through Steam because: NZ) and was able to preload, although I think I had to wait until the international release date before I could play.

I have since directed all my Steam purchases through them, because: NZ

Thank you very much for the code. Without it BNW would only have been $3 off in Canada. Big save, eh? Anyway, this coupled with the 4% for all of the DLC is certainly something I'll be checking out.

I've never bought at Greenmangaming, so I'm a bit wary. It says thet it needs Steam anyway, so am I safe to buy it here instead of Steam and still get it on my proper account? The difference between 27 dollars and 27 euro is pretty big here in Poland, so I'd be interested if they sell anything to my country. :)
I think that currently the best option for Poland is Muve (80PLN for Steam key):

Gotta love GMG. Just got this deal, and I picked up Total War: Rome 2 for 45 bucks a couple weeks back (25% off or so). I have to wonder how they're able to have these terrific deals that even Steam doesn't match prior to release.
Funny you mention Rome 2, there is another one of this big discount websites that I use to buy from (www.onlinekeystore.com) and I normally go there first before Steam. Right now they are selling Rome 2 for €31.95, and this is a steal in my opinion! Grid 2 for just €19.75 and so on. The thing is that they are not tied just to Steam games so there you find EA Origin, Blizzard and everybody else.

But unfortunately they don't have a deal for BNW so I followed the steps like everybody here and bought for the first time at GMG. Let's see :)

Thanks for the heads up. Completing my order now. Hope it works with steam. Just backspace the voucher code and add the last letter, works well. Confirmation says release is July 9th, so maybe those of us in the US won't have to wait for the international date.
