Bring back the Wonder Movies and add more anims to the High Council. Also, bring back Fundamentalism! That's some of my suggestions.

Indeed the high council was hillarious and a great company in civ II, I would love to see it back.
(Side note: Is civ 3's political advisor a SHE!?!?!? Self/mind be confused now! )

I seem to recall it had a few glitches on my PSX. As did the Wonder Videos - a 20% chance of crashing the game!

I don't think the High Council should be forced to load at set points in the game as they were before - I'd typically just cancel it (after a fairly agonising pause). That said, I did find them quite funny on the rare occasions that I listened, although that was probably because I only rarely listened...
