Browser Civilization

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there's a browser version of Civ? Or, is there any browser game very much like Civ? It would be awesome if there was!

wow... I tried Civ World. I'm still in a state of shock. Civ world is blasphemy, a complete butchery of Sid Meier's Civilization. What the heck is the "Technology maze?" Really guys? Instead of cashing in on Civ's market, they've created a cliche representation of every other building game on Facebook. I almost died when I saw the "Halloween throne-room." I think most Civ players would agree that Civ World is kiddish and boring.

Thanks CTH. The website shut down? I can't go to freeciv.com. Is the game still playable in browser?

FreeCiv is NOT a browser game.
But it's free, so if you have some time, then just download it and give it a try .

Else maybe Culture Conflicts? But the game is not yet out of developement.

(Note that Android doesn't appear to be on the list)
