Bryce 5 trial DL

Can anyone direct me to a DL for a trial version of Bryce 5? As I have yet to find one. As I have the money to buy one, but when I searched the Best buy and C city website, I couldn't find it. So I have to order on line and I don't have a credit card. So unitl I bug my father to the point where he allows me to buy use his credit card to buy it I am stuck no being able to animate the models I have.

I just did a search for "Bryce 5 trial" at www.google.com and it came up with a long list of sites where I can potentially down load it. Google search is nice, you should check it out sometimes.

Looks like you won't be able to find any trial versions. One thing those forums brought up that is relevant, there are freeware programs out there that might not be as expansive, but should fill a temporary gap. GMAX and Blender are both good modeling/animation programs, and even though GMAX can't render, Blender can.

To answer the heightmap question - simplisticly, it is a terrain generation of various heights (mountains,valleys, etc.). That is the primary reason I purchased Bryce. However if you don't want to spend around a hundred bucks on a program just to make scenery, check out Terragen .... a very good freeware terrain generator, and very powerful.
