Just curious how the new Better AI was going to handle the default normal AI setting versus "Aggressive AI". Does BAI currently affect these setting differently?
There's already a difference in handling of closeness in choosing war ... on Aggressive the AI is even more likely to attack a nearby player they're on okay terms with over a distant player they don't like.
Solver's unofficial patch also makes the AI on Aggressive less willing to accept peace if it poses more of a threat to your cities than you do to its.
I definitely think there should be differences between Aggressive and normal, not huge differences though and largely at the strategic level rather than the tactical level.
On aggressive settings, just keep an eye on the city attack stack strength of player1 when he dows a border war on player2 heading for a city target. The issue is still not resolved in my widdle mind about what I have seen regarding the city attack strength being a little less likely to succeed on aggressive but fine on standard. The issue is not black and white but an issue of "on average". I could also simply be wrong.
Cheers.
