BTS crashing when re-loading a previous save problem

No such luck. 20 minutes into my game of BtS, it crashed again. Why can't computers just work properly all the time?

With my BtS I had a problem just once, and I think it could be cause that this game was very slow (my parents' comp as I mentioned above). You still haven't mentioned that will that games be accepted to HOF?

I am not sure I understand. We can't tell until you submit it.

What temperature is safe for your Graphics Processor Unit to get to? I've found a thing that shows a graph of how hot the GPU gets during BtS.

I'm not sure, the only temperature range I'm sure about is for hard drives, and I'm sure that that range is lower than for a processor.

When BtS is not on, it says 59C, but when BtS has been going for 15 minutes, it says 77C.

ah, much higher than a hard drive...I try to keep my hard drive below 32C.

I now have a thing called Speedfan installed. It says that I have the following temperatures (with my PC not doing anything other than surfing the 'net):

System: 41C
CPU: 53C
Aux: 50C
HD: 41C
Temp1 ACPI: 41C
Core 0: 56C
Core 1: 57C
Core NVidia Card: 60C

How do they sound?

Not much, but higher than mine (just watched)
I got a quad-duo 2.4 on Abit IP35, 2 Gb RAM, nVidia 8500 GC, running WinXP Pro.

Have you look for an updated BIOS?
Drivers are surely important, but BIOS too.
Be care when you update it.

BTW i never experienced a crash during a game, only on loading from a game (knockin' wood).
