BtS Installation Problem

the program files are not in my documents - but in program files\ or program files (x86)\
is civilization 4 working properly?
are you trying to install with admin rights?

I know they should be in c:\program files, but they're simply not there. I have no idea how the game is working or where it's drawing the files from. I can't figure it out, which is why I tried to see if anyone here knows an answer.

Maybe I'm an idiot....but I can't get this to install either. I've read all and have tried all of the suggestions/tips/fixes with no change. My system is ok for BTS so I have no idea what the %&*@ is going on!!
