BTS Missing Interface

This is really getting frustrating.

I was running Civ4 Gold and BTS, and each was working fine. I installed the Sevopedia, which seemed to be working correctly. I then added the Better BUG AI mod, which caused my BTS interface to disappear with no ability to restore it, that I could find.

As a result, I uninstalled Civ4 Gold and BTS, and reinstalled everything after a reboot, applying all the patches in sequence. (Since I have Gold, the only patches I could apply were to BTS, both 3.17 and 3.19).

I then applied the Sevopedia v. 1.93 (without checking the operation of any of the three executive files), and ran BTS. I again have no interface, and no means of turning it on that I can find. So I restored the original python and xml folders under my BTS CustomAssets folder, but without success.

I'm sure there must be some simple fix to this, but I'll be damned if I can find it. I've spent the better part of 5 hours trying to resolve this, and it's killing me.

Can anyone tell me how to get the interface working again? Frustration is the name of this game.

EDIT: The interface is working in both Civ4 and Warlords. I can't figure out what's happening here.

..did u try removing everything inside Bts CustomAssets folder??

No, but that's maybe a good idea. The first load will recreate that folder, IIRC. I'll give that a try.

EDIT: That did it. Man, such an obvious solution. Thanks, jarhead_leif. I wish I had thought of that.

Now I just need to figure out how to apply that Sevopedia (which I love, btw) without breaking the interface.

Also, thanks for illustrating to me how simple it is to fix a broken system due to a mod. I'll hopefully never forget that.

FWIW, BUG includes Sevopedia. It is one of the components of BUG. So, if you are installing BUG then you don't need to install Sevopedia separately for BTS.

Indeed. 5 hrs that could have been much better spent doing many other things (like schoolwork). But I was trying like hell to figure that out.

Thanks for the tip on the inclusion of Sevopedia in the BUG mod, guys. That's helpful information as well.

Can this problem and solution be added to the OP of the stickied fix-all thread please? This problem has already happened to me twice, and it must happen a hell of a lot.
