I was well into my second game when I received a Windows message that "a severe error had occurred". The usual error report was sent to them.
Now, when I attempt to load the game, I receive the message "initialize renderer failed" W=1024; H=768; Flags=0xC; HWND=0X130040e; Adaptrid=0; Deviceid=1. Creation failed. Could not match full screen mode.
My graphics card is a GEForce 7600 GT. Driver is 6.14.11.6218.
I have checked the nVidea site and that appears to be the current driver. The video is set to 1024x768. DirectX has not been changed.
