BTS Pink Squares problem?

Hey guys. New user here.

I just bought Civilization IV: The Complete Edition. I went through a lot of trouble installing everything, and finally I got all 3 other games to work. But BTS? Nope. There's these pink squares in the video startup, and eveything, Background is black, new faces in Civilizations are pink sqaured, I don;t even want to KNOW how screwed up it is in-game.

Could anyone please give me a solution?

It sounds like it didn't install correctly. You could try a clean reinstall...

I've re-installed twice now with no luck.

hmmm.... this is a question for someone who really knows the game. It may be a corrupted dll somewhere? Ive only been playing for 2 days now. Sorry...

It's alright, man. You helped out, and I thank you for that.

Problem was kinda fixed on 3rd install. It says 'Movies not installed correctly.' but nothing else seems to be the problem.
