Buffing ai science output

Is it possible in the xml to give the ai a 25 or 50% science output boost?

It is possible to lower tech costs for the AI which is basically the same.

What I like to do in a custom AI that I had for myself is to instead decrease food requirements for AI so that they get faster population which in turn increases all their other yields by a small amount.
