I had a quick look about but couldn't find an answer to my question. The question being, I just finished my first game with Bug and Bat and one of them or both have reset my high scores table. Is there a way to reinstate all my high scores or do I have to start again when I use these mods?

Sax.

edit - Seems its BAT and not BUG that's causing the high score table to disapear!

I haven't looked into this before, but I bet that each mod has its own set of high scores. BAT isn't resetting anything--it just is showing you a different list of high scores. This is a Civ4 design and not part of BAT.

BTW, BAT includes BUG, so normally you don't need to install both.

Doh, I didn't realize that

If I run only BUG then my old high scores are still available its when BAT runs that I have a clean new table, for my current game I am running just BUG because I like to compare score but I do prefer the cosmetic upgrades that come with BAT

No way to move them across that anyone knows about then?

I should said this to begin with: yes! You can copy the files in the folder "My Games\BTS\Replays" to "BAT Mod 1.2\Replays". I've done that with BUG, so I assume it should work with BAT as well.

I am not a complete techy, so my lack of success doesn't mean that this can't be done. However I tried and after finding my set of high scores I started copying and pasting, I did not get it to work though and after looking harder I found both set of scores in the same list. I do use Vista and my high scores and saves are not kept with the game files but in "My Documents" and both sets of "Hall of Fame" scores seem to be kept in the same replay folder.

No luck but due to the better game experiance I think I'll "BAT it up" anyway! :)

Ah okay. Then the game itself is only showing the scores for the mod you have loaded, even though the replays are all stored in the same place. I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about that. Looks like you get to rewrite history . . . again! :)

WRONG!! Maybe. If you open of the file in Notepad++ the last thing in the file is the path of the mod used. Like the one I opened up said "Mods\Fall from Heaven 2 031\" after a lot of gibberish. I haven't tried changing it yet but it might work.

Sure, players can modify their replay files, but BUG won't be doing that.

The SDK has the class CvHallOfFameInfo that the Python screen uses to get the list of replays, but the function that loads the replays merely calls out to the EXE to load them. Thus, there's no way to modify it to load all replays regardless of the mod used.
