Bug: Defense: Dissappearing Units, Unavailable Techs

Defense Scenario
Bug 1: Dissappearing Units
Issue: In two separate games I have noticed that a unit occasionally has disappeared from the game. ex. In one turn, I fire a cannon. The next turn there is nothing there
Recreation: Have seen it three times. I have only seen it happen after level nine.
Version: 3.02 i think? does that make sense? I'm at work so I don't know.

This bug makes the game unplayable if you lose a unit with high upgrades.

Bug 2:Unavailable Techs
Issue: In two separate games there is a random point where I am unable to purchase any more techs. The first time was after round 6 where I had only gotten the one with Riders. The second time was after round 10 where I had about half the techs.
Recreation: It is not tied to a specific tech or round.
Version: see above
Screenshot: Maybe I can take one after I get home. Basically the tech screen menu at the bottom only shows Exit (No tech cost, available gold, etc)

I encounter not being able to buy techs after I've reloaded a saved game. And I'm sorry, I can't sit in front of a computer and play all 20 rounds at once, if this was a design decision, it was a very very poorly made decision.
 
On level 9 a maceman dropped from 20 to 16 max strength.
At level 10 some units vanished.
I was enjoying the game so I hope it's fixable.
 
I have played 3 games of 'Defense' at the second level (easy) and each time at Round 11 my units disappear also. It could have occurred earlier, but I never noticed it.
 
I think it's the samurais killing your units. They hit all units around the defender.
 
I'm only at round 6 and I was unable to buy additional techs for 2 consecutive rounds.

The remark about this occurring after loading a save game makes sense. Yesterday I had no issues, but this morning after starting the save game from yesterday I could no longer buy the techs.

And after those invisible panthers, I want those spy techs!:rolleyes:
 
Its not the samurai, i had an entire city of defenders disappear (not near the action) so I moved another guy into the city and he was gone the next turn too. I also believe this occured before the samurai.
 
Units disappear when suizide grenadiers attack (Level 11). You need to kill them before they attack. Use catapults and combat archers. They can attack units who are 3 tiles away.

Psycho samurais will generate colateral damage to all units around the attacked tile. But I think thats not your problem.

Every tech needs a minum amount of turns as a prerequisit. I think for trebuchets its 223 turns. Check the tech screen.

units are still dissapearing. I replayed the scenario yesterday and its still there. And its not because they get killed by any untis, including suicide grenadiers. They simply dissapear. ******** bug
 
Anything new on this?

I've encountered the tech lock bug before, quite frustrating. Today I was playing, no problems, then suddenly my units started vanishing. Not being killed - I checked the event log. No record of them being killed by grenadiers or anybody else, they just weren't there.
