bug with the in-game text

All of the in-game text is a bunch of gibberish. Most of the letters have just turned into weird symbols, while other letters remained unchanged! I run on Vista...

I'm getting the same thing. Everything works well, including the mini movie and the initial menu. I can see the actual game screen fine with the settler and the terrain, it's perfect. The only problem is that the many of letters are replaced with weird symbols.

I guess your graphics cards are to weak.
