Well, you know where to find that current information. :)

All cities in this province would benefit greatly from offshore platforms, but since they take a lot of time to build i suggest we rush them. Rushing them when most shields need to be bought costs around 300 gold for each platform so it will be a huge investement of several turns, but we will benefit greatly. Combine with factories and Hoover Dam, and we have a bunch of killer cities to conquer the world with. :cooool:

Other than that, we would be wise to continue our focus on growth, happiness and trade.

Any thoughts?

Bump. Some input would be greatly appreciated. :)

They look good to me, Spicey.

A few things would take me out of the queues that you suggest:

1. Military needs - the use of spies and ships could make itself known here or there.

2. Sewers/aqueducts - with some celebrating about to happen, I may try to squeeze these into some key cities.

3. Engineers - Moving some will be nice, but I may try to sqeeze some of these in as well for quiker improvement and even a few new cities.

That's about it. Same goes for Phobos - though I won't be doing much more than improvements in THDP. We may want to see about a bank and stock market there as well as unhappiness my crop up.

I wouldn't go building offshore platforms everywhere just at the moment though - there are a few cities (THDP especially) that have a good deal of ocean in their radii and so would benefit more from them than others. Olympia, for example, would benefit far more from a factory than an offshore platform at this stage although I think it may already have one. We need to be still be able to grab any wonders (not many left) or produce troops and spies as necessary. We can't get stuck in a massive production drive if it means that we will start to waste hundreds of shields should some upstart civ decide we're worth invading. We still have to hold off the Romans at Dukeshire (no vested interest, honest! :)) and try to take as much of Mongolia's home island as possible, with proposed incursions on German soil in the offing too. :D We should have a rolling programme of either factory or offshore platform copnstruction in a similar way to that proposed by our Great Leader (:)) for the aqueducts all those years ago. I agree that we still need aqueducts and sewer systems in many of our cities so that we can make the most of celebrations in the future. Great job Spice :D:goodjob:

Yes, duke, I can see where the "program" will benefit :). Or "programme" for the "proper" English ;) Pretty much my thoughts as far as rushing anyway.

Keep in mind that we have a lot more cities that we did before as well. We'll have to stretch our dollars a bit more, so we may have to prioritize. Some money spending ventures could include:

- Various offshore platforms that will kick-start some very low-production cities like Becka-Becka, Kevholm, and Dellville.
- Production boosting in some Trition cities - especially Beijing since it has Shake's. Factories and sewers/aqueducts in this province could give us a great military production area.
- Rushing some sewers on the main island to be sure that celebrating will grow our cities with the most infrastructure.
- Spy buying in areas like the English cities near Brighton, the Roman cities near Dukeshire, and perhaps later on the Germans.
- Spy buying for possible Mongol units and/or cities.
- Who knows if we'll have to end up rushing a part of Hoover.
- Rushing defensive units in new Mongol cities - possibly city walls or things like that as well.

I'll try to revisit celebrating in another thread, but we'll have to consider what to lower when we increase the luxuries. Perhaps lowering science would be good. We could delay Auto a bit to keep Leo's around, celebrate, and still keep a good income coming in.

Some ways to help increase our money:

- Keep taking very wealthy Mongol cities (with military).
- Freight and plenty of 'em.
- Celebrating and having more people to "donate".

Sounds good to me, it is about what I had in mind anyway. Since most of our cities would take ages to build platforms, they really need to be rushed. And since they are to be rushed, there is no need to start buliding them everywhere at the same time. Instead we could start one or two at the time, let them get their firsts shields, rush them and then move on to the next when our treasury allows it. With our current income and some room for other activites, we could probably average one platform every second turn without problems. Regarding warships, I think Joespaniel is well suited for some cruiser production. :)
