I am opening the floor for possible future build queues discussions for the city that we have yet to name.

Currently we are building a warrrior though I would like to see a library to be built.

Here is the build queue that I have in mind so far:
Warrior (Finish Building) -> Library -> Granary

sounds good to me

I'd place the granary first I don't think the city will be producing a large amount of research early on so the library would be ineffective at the early stage

It'll take 90 turns to build a library! (Yeah, yeah, fewer than that once the city grows; but still, it'll be a while.)

Assuming we trade for Archery, I'd build an archer (or two), then either granary or barracks (barracks if we decide we're going to research the military techs and go to war).

Anything you build there will take a while. (Yeah, yeah, less once the city grows; but still, it'll be a while.) Chopping might help and a granary would be my other choice. Units can be built anywhere, buildings can only be built where they will be used. That's why I'd like to see City 3 start buildings now and let the other cities supply the bodies. Besides warriors are fast becoming obsolete. ;)

Library is needed for :culture:

I suggest starting with the library as soon as possible and let the defenses come from somehwere else indeed. Remember the game tip: walls only work well as a defense against non-gunpowder units, culture works well against any unit. We should develop the countryisde too of course. Mine the gold and tame the horses.

This city is clearly a great production city.

To this it needs to work the hills around; and get food to it; that is, it needs to get its radius ASAP.

So, the Elder is right, library first (not for the commerce, and it shall be commerce, but for the 21 tiles radius).

Best regards,

It should focus on military and maybe wonders. To do this, farms should be built so that it can work the hills and grow at the same time.

While our capital builds settlers and workers, Falcon's Haven would be a hybrid with mainly commerce.

Edit: Warrior - Library (at size 3). In between, an obelisk and/or more warrior can be built.

@ 730195:  Very well played.

I can agree with the point that fed1943 makes (as does dutchfire in a post above) that expanding the borders of our new city might be desirable.

However, there are cheaper and quicker ways of doing this. If we decide to research Mysticism next, in about 3 turns we'll be able to build an obelisk for a third the cost of a library. A library is a much better build for the long term, and frequently building an obelisk is a waste of production. In this case, however, this would be the better choice if increasing the city's borders quickly is the objective.

I have taken the consideration of your suggestions and placed the Library on first.
