On this site they say that you can buy Civilization III for $49.08!

Wath do you think? I know that they don't mean that you could buy it now. But the prize, $49.08? Is it to much? Is it good that they set such a prize allready?

45$ really isn't all that much for a complete game. Think about it this way, if you went to McDonalds and purchased a value meal it could cost you anywhere from 3 to 5 dollars. so at 4 dollars being the average it is only costing you 11 or 12 meals. If you were getting paid minimum wage of 5 dollars (ehich BTW is really higher than that) it would only take you 9 or so hours (not taking in account taxes on your wages). Now that is 9 hours of you life, for thousands of hours of Civ enjoyment.

Well, to be honest I'll also wait a while before buying it. But it's not because that I'll wait for the comments of Crash Test Dummies

but since I'm pretty sure Civ3 will be released on Mac seeveral months after the PC ver...

And I don't want to use VirtualPC to run it!

$40 Thats like £20, quite cheap, when the game comes out in britain it will cost £39.99 and i will probably just go and wad out £40 to get it, im dying to get civ 2, at any price (and McDonalds meals here are £3.20)
